Collecting Wildlife information in the area.

Pollution in the air we breathe has been a problem for many years. It is increasing, but so is awareness of the problem and the individual and political will to find solutions.

A group of us in the valley have been collecting data, and we wanted to share this information with our neighbours, not to point fingers, apportion blame or demand action, but to provide clear information so that everyone can make informed decisions.

Due to our properties being listed in a flood plain, we have been subject to a limited number of insurers that will accept our applications. Here is a list of some companies where applications have been successful.

We regularly have sightings of rats in The Yard due to the lack of cats, access to food sources, nearby wild spaces (Narroways, the allotments and The Farm). It’s not possible to entirely eliminate them from The Yard, but we can keep down their numbers if we work together.
